Since I first learned the art of fly fishing at the age of 11 in Yellowstone, it has been an insatiable passion ever since. Under the watchful eye of Jack Dennis, I began to cast. I never thought that 13 years later, that name would mean so much to me. I'm sure if I were to see him now he would have no recollection of some kid from Canada.
I have loved the Amy's Ant pattern for as long as I remember. I had always seen his name in the description of the fly, but for some reason never put my first time fly fishing and that trustworthy pattern together. Until right now. Without his knowledge and ability to entice the angler and the fish, I don't think I'd be able to thank him enough for everything he's done. There are too many people I'd like to thank along the way. Ben Zander and Pacific Fly Fishers for everything they've taught me along the way and for the never ending adventures. CrossCurrents and Billy Hancock in Helena, Montana for also fueling the desire to be on the vise or the river when not playing hockey. Doug and Graham Hurst for having a third seat on the boat, their selflessness and laughs on the river. If it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't be creating this website so thank you.
I'll be posting a monthly update from HQ so check back for new flies, or some surprise merch drops. Thank you for your support.
